Michael J. Bednarik

Over the last 30 years, Mike Bednarik has made a career out of helping people who have become injured or disabled.  He has earned a reputation throughout the legal community as providing passionate, aggressive and honest legal representation.  Over the course of his career Mike Bednarik has tried over 400 jury trials in both state and federal courts, represented claimants at over 500 social security disability hearings, and represented over 100 injured workers before the North Carolina Industrial Commission.  In addition, Mike Bednarik has settled thousands of personal injury claims against large insurance companies. A native of New York, Mike moved to Winston-Salem where he attended Wake Forest University.  He then received his law degree from  Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California.  After spending a year as a litigation attorney with a large Los Angeles law firm, Mike knew two things:  he wanted a career helping people and he wanted to do in North Carolina. In 1983 Mike moved back to North Carolina, and 11 years later he founded The Law Offices of Michael J. Bednarik.  Since then, he has spent every day fighting for the rights of people who have become injured and disabled. In addition to practicing law, Mike is a certified mediator and adjunct instructor at Central Piedmont Community College, where he teaches civil litigation in the school’s paralegal program. Mike lives in Charlotte with his wife of 28 years, Beverly.  In his free time, Mike enjoys traveling, rooting for the New York Mets and spending time with his wife and their dog, Jake.
